Logistics property developer Prologis has agreed a lease with homeware retailer Dunelm for a new warehousing facility – DC4 – on the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal.
Prologis said the move to the leading rail-served logistics park supports Dunelm’s focus on improving its customer proposition, as well as reflecting the growth in home delivery and click and collect operations as a result of the pandemic.
The 10-year lease includes 189,214 sq ft of building space and the company will move in once construction is completed in September.
Tom Price, Prologis UK capital deployment and leasing associate, said: “To let DC4 in advance of the building’s completion shows just how strong demand in the market is for well-located logistics facilities, close to vital road and rail links.”
