Norbert secures Hyundai parts delivery contract

Hyundai parts supplier Mobis Parts Europe (UK) has chosen Norbert Dentressangle to provide parts delivery to dealerships across the UK.

The operator will deliver vehicle parts through the night to around 360 Hyundai and Kia dealerships across the UK.

Parts will be delivered in roll-cages before 8am instead of the current pre-noon delivery service provided by another unnamed supplier.

Chris Wells, director of night distribution at Norbert Dentressangle, said parts distribution is a key growth area for the business.

The win comes after Mobis extended its relationship with Unipart Logistics until 2018 earlier this year. Unipart manages dispatches of parts and accessories from Mobis’ Tamworth DC, while ND will provide transport out of the site.

Unipart automotive director Jon Horton said: “Unipart is delighted to develop the parts service to dealers through a new operating model with a trusted transport partner.
