A new development is reaching its final stages at Prologis Park Midpoint in Birmingham, with completion set for June.
Prologis Park Midpoint is already home to Jaguar Land Rover, Europa Worldwide and Kuehne + Nagel, and is located within five miles of 11 motorway junctions.
The 163,754sq ft Grade A unit is targeting a BREEAM “Excellent” and EPC A+ rating. It will also feature a 278kWp solar PV roof array alongside a scalable EV charging infrastructure.
Prologis Park Midpoint also offers Prologis PARKlife, which provides on-site security, maintenance of the Park’s green spaces, and offers the Prologis Green Travel Scheme – which enables Park employees to reduce their own carbon emissions when travelling to and from work.
James Hemstock, Prologis UK capital deployment and leasing director, said: “As we look forward to DC6’s practical completion in Q2, we’re keen to welcome a new customer on site in our latest facility.
“We have had excellent interest in the unit so far, which proves the strength of the location, building quality, and continued demand for space in prime areas.
“Despite there being a wider lack of space being delivered in the Birmingham area this year, we’re proud to be one of the developers investing heavily in the West Midlands market.
“Prologis Park Midpoint has always been popular with businesses looking to base distribution headquarters and hubs in the area and this latest development shows our commitment not only to the area, but also to providing first-class facilities for our customers.”
