Operators interested in trialling alternative fuel vehicles on their urban delivery fleets should head along to next week's LoCITY roadshow, taking place on 20 November at CEME Innovation Centre, Rainham, Essex.
TfL's LoCITY events provide an opportunity for freight operators to hear directly from their peers about using non-diesel trucks and vans in their fleets, as well as engage with vehicle manufacturers and technology firms.
A range of vehicles from cargo bikes and electric vans up to gas-powered trucks will be available to explore on the day, including the new Ford Plug-in Hybrid Custom Transit currently taking part in road trials.
Fleet operators Hermes, Clipper Logistics, Sky, Lawsons, Zedify and Royal Mail will all share their knowledge with delegates on the day around sustainable urban logistics and cleaner fuels.
The half-day event is organised by MT owner DVV Media and free to attend, so reserve a place today if you'd like to attend.
LoCITY is a TfL-funded programme to help the freight sector better understand alternative fuels and emerging cleaner vehicle technology ahead of London's Ultra Low Emission Zone rollout next year and to support the mayor's wider transport strategy.
