The new category introduced in the 2012 awards for Network of the Year will again be running in 2013.
Network of the Year is open to any national transport or logistics operator with multiple DCs or depots, including pallet networks, parcels carriers, hauliers and own-account operators. Ownership structure is immaterial; the network can be a wholly-owned, partnership, consortium, franchised or licensed operation - the only requirement is that the entrant together with any associated companies functions as an integrated network.
The award will be made to the network operator that can demonstrate excellent operational efficiency, above average vehicle utilisation, high customer service levels, value for money and high levels of flexibility and responsiveness.
