Hoddesdon Distribution, which runs more than 20 trucks out of its Harlow operating centre, has entered administration.

Benjamin Wiles and Philip Dakin from Kroll Advisory were appointed to the haulage company on Wednesday (17 April) but neither were able to comment as we went to press.

The firm started in 1997 and grew from offering only transport services to providing storage as well from its 45,000sq ft warehouse.

It also had authority to operate 30 trailers.

Hoddesdon Distribution described itself as “leading experts” in pallet distribution and relied on regional hubs across the country.

According to its last set of available accounts, in December 2022 the company repaid its bank loan and entered into a new asset backed loan for £110,000 repayable in equal instalments over 48 months.

No-one from the company responded to our request for comment.
