The North East Clean Air Roadshow
From 2021, HGV and van operators heading into Newcastle city centre will need to comply with the Euro-6 diesel requirements of a Clean Air Zone or pay a daily fee to enter.
In addition, Newcastle, Gateshead and North Tyneside councils have also agreed a series of other measures to help improve air quality in pollution hotspots, such as changes to existing road layouts.
Motor Transport has partnered with the North East Combined Authority to bring you a free-to-attend half-day roadshow aimed at freight operators.
This will allow you to engage directly with senior councillors about the region's air quality plans and ask any key questions you may have about the impact on your fleet and business.
In addition, delegates will also get to see a range of the latest Euro-6 and alternatively-fuelled vehicles on the market today and hear from leading industry technology experts in a series of informative workshops.
Places are completely free for these must-attend events, however they do tend to fill up quickly, so make sure to secure a space today.
