PW Gates Distribution in Welwyn Garden City has added to its 49-strong fleet with two new generation DAF XG tractor units from Asset Alliance.
MD Peter Gates said: “We’ve had DAFs on our fleet for a long time, but I’m delighted to be one of Asset Alliance Group’s first customers to experience these next generation models.
“Our drivers are very happy with the newer models too.”
The vehicles will operate nationwide from the pallet and warehouse firm’s head office and satellite depot in Bedford seven days a week, helping to deliver ambient food to supermarkets and transporting building materials to customers including B&Q and Travis Perkins.
