Wincanton has appointed Tom Hinton as its new chief financial officer with effect from 15 August, replacing interim CFO James Clarke.
Hinton has held group CFO positions at Infinis Energy plc, Domestic & General and international mining and chemicals business WE Soda.

James Wroath, chief executive at Wincanton, added that Hinton had “broad experience and an engaging and innovative style that I believe complements Wincanton's strategic direction.
“I would also like to place on record my sincere thanks to James Clarke who has been a great support to me and the business in his role as interim CFO since 1 March 2022.”
Clarke will continue in his role until Hinton’s arrival.
