Duke Distribution in Worksop has bought local haulage firm Etherhead Transport as part of its growth strategy.
Duke Distribution was only incorporated in 2020, but in a statement it said it had achieved “significant organic growth” and that acquiring companies which shared its family values and commitment to customer services was fundamental to its continued growth.
James Robinson, Duke MD, added that ETL’s boss Daniel Etheridge had helped develop a reputation for quality and service delivery.
Duke Distribution Ltd provides heavy transportation services and transports freight including retail goods and construction materials, as well as plant and equipment.
It currently holds a standard international licence authorising 15 HGVs and 15 trailers.
