E-commerce tech provider Doddle has appointed Australia Post’s group chief operating officer, Bob Black (pictured), as its deputy chairman.
Black takes up the role with immediate effect and Doddle said he had a remit to develop new products and solutions as it continued its growth strategy.
During his time at Australia Post, it partnered with Doddle to launch a network of pick-up and drop-off locations to support online shopping.
Black said: “I am excited to continue my involvement with Doddle - this time as part of the team.
“The work that we did together at Australia Post was a game changer and helped make the online shopping experience seamless, giving customers the flexibility they wanted with the ability to collect and return parcels when and where it suits them.”
