Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Mercedes-Benz Vans have welcomed the latest member to their shared dealer network – the newly merged and rebranded Motus Truck & Van.
The company was born out of the merger between MB dealers Orwell Truck & Van and S&B Commercials and it will continue to trade out of all of the existing sites of the previous businesses.
Motus Truck & Van also intends on opening a truck and van aftersales centre in Witham, Essex before the end of the year.
MD Lee Seward (pictured) said: “We have committed a great deal of time and effort to rebuilding the foundations of these two very different businesses over the last couple of years.
“The rebranding that we’ve announced this week marks the formal completion of this process.
“Having introduced new systems and processes, capitalised on synergies, and developed strategies, we are now on a much stronger footing and working as one completely unified team.”
Motus will sell the full range of MB commercial vehicles, from the Actros to the Citan small van, as well as the battery-powered eSprinter and eVito van models and the 7.5-tonne FUSO eCanter.
“Our aim now is to establish Motus Truck & Van as the UK’s number one supplier of Mercedes-Benz and FUSO commercial vehicles,” added Seward.
