The boss of haulage firm Moody Logistics has written to transport secretary Grant Shapps asking for urgent action to tackle the huge shortage of qualified HGV drivers. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has said it will take no further action against the seven United Road Transport Union (URTU) men arrested in relation to a Driver CPC fraud investigation.
