After two tough days of judging some superb entries, the shortlist for the 2015 Motor Transport Awards has been announced. DPD once again leads the pack, being shortlisted for four awards, while Cemex is up for two. MT Awards 2020: Pioneering on electric vehicles takes DPD to Clean Fleet Van Operator of the Year award
In line with its wider urban delivery strategy, parcels firm DPD is aiming to build an all-electric fleet in “double-quick” time. By the end of 2020 it planned for more than 600 vehicles, around 10% of its fleet, to be fully electric – up from 147 by the end of 2019. The total EV fleet is now 730 vehicles.
