Ward Recycling has invested more than £2m in 21 new materials handling fleet vehicles to improve energy efficiency and safety. They include roll on/offs, skip and tipper lorries, artics, trailers and four 8-wheelers, designed specifically for the metal and waste recycling firm’s special projects. Heavy truck sales are expected to surge at least 10% in 2013 compared with this year as operators delay buying Euro-6 vehicles, which will replace Euro-5 in 2014.
