The UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) has appointed baroness Anne McIntosh as its honourary president.
Working practices in the supply chain have been thrust into the limelight by the BBC’s investigative series Panorama. Earlier this week the programme aired an edition highlighting long shifts and tough picking targets at a DC run by internet retailer Amazon.
