Mercedes-Benz reveals plans for battery and hydrogen fuel cell heavy tractors at roundtable


 

Mercedes-Benz will have its first eActros Long Haul on the road by 2024. It will have a range of around 500kms and a new e-axle with two e-motors of 200kW each, a new HV topology of 800V, which will lead to faster charging capabilities, a payload of 22 tonnes for the 40-tonne truck and the same lifespan plan as diesel of 1.2 million kms over 10 years.
