Clipper Logistics has signed a two-year deal with JD Sports to provide e-fulfilment services from its distribution centre in Sherburn, near Leeds after impressing the retailer with its e-commerce know-how.
The contract, which is expected to begin this summer, sees Clipper Logistics provide an end-to-end service, including logistics support to trunk product to the site from JD Sports' other warehouse locations.
It is expected to be an initial minimum term of two years and has seen Clipper reserve a minimum of 400,000sq ft of warehousing space.
