NS Clarke Transport Ltd has backed cycle detection system Cycle-Safe, which the haulier has installed on its fleet to comply with safety legislation.
Commented transport manager Russell Clarke: “Our main goal was to gain HGV Safety Permits for our fleet and to be DVS compliant. However, we were also very aware of the many issues and high false alarm rates of ultrasonic sensor systems, so were keen to find an alternative… Cycle-Safe™ was it and we are very impressed.
“Although slightly higher cost to purchase, quicker installation times, the ability to move to new vehicles and the fact that it’s ‘future proof’ more than offsets this. Highly recommended!”
