XPO Logistics has expanded its partnership with healthcare products provider Getinge, taking responsibility for its distribution from the Netherlands to the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
It was already providing end-to-end supply chain solutions for eight other Getinge business units from XPO’s distribution hub in Eindhoven and under the new contract provisions, it will now provide warehousing and transport for the company’s infection control business.
Tom Hawkins, Getinge Logistics senior director, said: “Our relationship with XPO is extremely productive, due in large part to their commitment to innovation.
