XPO Logistics has renewed its contract with frozen food retailer Iceland Foods for warehousing and distribution services.The five-year renewal extends XPO’s partnership with Iceland to more than a decade.

Under the renewed deal XPO will continue to manage around 3,000 workers at Iceland distribution centres in Warrington, Deeside, Enfield, Livingston and two in Swindon.

It will also provide extra capacity at XPO shared-user sites, as well as providing additional logistics and transport support during peak demand.

Both companies have also worked together to develop strategies to ensure the safety of the workforce during the pandemic.
