Referring to Fortec’s acquisition by Pall-Ex she added: “In what has been an exciting seven months for the network, I am looking forward to playing my part in increasing the pallet volumes for the business and therefore helping the network grow as its journey continues.”

Michelle Naylor, UK commercial director at Pall-Ex Group, will be working closely with Day. She said: “Helen has a proven track record within the sector, and we were particularly impressed with her wealth of expertise with freight movements between the UK and Ireland.

“I have no doubts that Helen will be a success here and bring on high-profile customers for Fortec as a result.

“Her work ethic and attention to detail combined with her knowledge of the sector has meant she has fitted straight in and is already well on her way to establishing herself as a vital member of the team.”
