Europa Worldwide Group has employed a new head of recruitment as part of its continuing focus on growth and expansion.
Vanita Dass-Puri joined the business in 2017 as internal recruitment and acquisition manager and during the first lockdown she was at the forefront of recruiting a new team of 120 to facilitate the opening of Europa’s new facility in Corby.
The company said in her new role, Dass-Puri will continue to drive forward Europa’s recruitment programme, building the team to support its trade service, as well as re-launching the ‘rapid career development programme’ for school leavers and graduates.
Ian Kirkpatrick, Europa central services director, said: “Despite the challenges of the past year, we are continuing to focus on driving growth within the business as part of our commitment to investing in people, developing in-house talent, and encouraging progression.
“Recruitment will be a real focus for us in 2021 and we look forward to expanding the Europa team.”
