In-vehicle cameras manufacturer and supplier SmartWitness has appointed Fearghal MacGowan as MD of EMEA to drive “rapid expansion”.
He is replacing director and co-founder Paul Singh who left the company in December to pursue ventures “adjacent to the industry”, the company revealed.
In his new role, MacGowan is tasked with developing the SmartWitness EMEA division and growing its channel engagement strategy.
MacGowan has held executive posts at Oracle, Cisco and Huawei and has founded and sold two of his own companies.
SmartWitness vice president Aaron Kim, said: “We are very excited to add Fearghal MacGowan to our leadership team. We believe that he will bring a fresh viewpoint to the organization and his customer-centric approach aligns well with our core values. I expect to see rapid expansion throughout EMEA with his contributions.”
In a statement SmartWitness added: “Singh is passionate about the end customer experience and will engage with SmartWitness by providing voice of the customer feedback to help guide development and programs.”
