Isuzu Truck supplies 11-tonne rigids to Velocity

Isuzu Truck UK is helping to fix holes in the roads after it supplied two 11-tonne rigids to road repair specialist Velocity that can tackle both rural lanes and busy urban areas.

The F110.210(E) rigid trucks have a specialist Velocity body fitted to them, which provides a short wheelbase and vehicle width that facilitates access to tight single-track lanes, as well as making light work of holes in city areas.

The 11-tonne chassis provides Velocity with an increased chassis payload, compared to other machines, which enables an increase in material capacity, allowing up to 200 potholes a day to be tackled per vehicle.

Initially they will be deployed in Cornwall, providing a preventative and reactive maintenance programme for potholes across the county.
