A website for operators keen to swap or acquire rights to operate longer semi-trailers has been launched by the RHA. The longer semi-trailer permit exchange information board is free to use, and is non-profit making. The Forth Road Bridge will reopen to all vehicles at 11pm this Saturday (20 February) after being closed to HGV traffic for more than two months.
The European Commission (EC) said it will not comment on reports that it is to start legal action against the UK government over the introduction of the HGV Road User Levy.
