DPD has announced it will be trialling Scandinavian start-up Volta Trucks’ 16-tonne electric delivery vehicle in the New Year. The Volta Zero model will be tested within London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone to support DPD’s micro-depot strategy. DPD has expanded its international home delivery service with the launch of DPD Direct, collaborating with domestic parcel carriers in 12 countries.
