Dutch specialist precast concrete haulier Driessen Speciaaltransport has become the first FORS member to attain FORS Gold outside of the UK. Based in Horst, Driessen Speciaaltransport, which became a FORS member in 2013, has a fleet consisting of a range of in-loaders, V-frame loaders, low-loaders, extendable flatbeds and diagonal loaders, each specially equipped for precast transporting precast concrete. Transport for London’s Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (Fors) now has more than 1,300 registered members.
The new FORS Standard will be introduced to members via a series of live webinars this autumn.
The FTA has had its Truck and Van Excellence audits approved by TfL as meeting the latter’s work-related road risk (WRRR) requirements, a status previously held only by Fors.
