Pallet-Track member Aztek Logistics has provided vital storage for essential PPE during the coronavirus pandemic.

Aztek founder Stuart Charter and his team has been storing essential PPE at the company’s BRC-accredited 120,000sq ft premises in Letchworth, free of charge until needed by the local NHS East Ambulance storage facility.

Charter said: “Storing the PPE locally is essential to enable urgent distribution to the areas in need, helping to ensure our healthcare workers’ safety.

“We were happy to help and will continue to do so throughout the pandemic. The healthcare workers are our NHS heroes.”

In March, Aztek also delivered specialist flooring into the Nightingale Hospitals at the Birmingham NEC, the ExCel in London’s Docklands, Harrogate Convention Centre, the University of the West of England in Bristol and Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

Nigel Parkes, founder and MD of Pallet-Track, said: “The logistics industry has become an extra emergency service during this pandemic and our members have been stepping up to the plate all over the country, providing vital services where they are needed most.”
