Downes Transport has signed up with United Pallet Network (UPN) after Pallet Track gave the company 12 months’ notice last year. Lubbers Transport Group (LTG) has won a £3m contract with Centrica Energy to provide transport for its exploration and production business.
DSV Road has extended its relationship with air products manufacturer Fläkt Woods for three more years. The deal is an extension to an existing three-year contract, and will see DSV continue to collect Fläkt Woods products from its Colchester factory delivering them to customers across Europe. Irish delivery firm Nightline has stepped in to handle most of the express parcels work that had been handled by Target Express prior to its collapse.
