The RHA has hailed a new government pledge of £10bn to support thousands of businesses by protecting against customer defaults and payment delays. Direct Vision Standard is not the best approach to reducing road deaths, warn transport associations
Both the RHA and FTA have reiterated their opposition to TfL’s Direct Vision Standard (DVS) arguing there are more effective ways to reduce vulnerable road user casualties on the capital’s roads.
The FTA is partnering with freight exchange platform Haulage Exchange to help operators whose supply chains have been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic find additional workloads or carrier partners.
