Ryder is expanding its Devizes site and recruiting 25 new staff in its FleetCare business.
The rental and contract hire firm said Devizes was a key operational centre and it had recently undergone a substantial refurbishment and telecommunications upgrade.
It is now appointing positions in compliance and customer service, as well as maintenance controllers, maintenance engineers and a FleetCare supervisor.
Ryder said it had already recruited people to some of the positions and it expected to fill all remaining positions by August.
Tony Roebuck, Ryder external and mobile operations director, said: “Devizes is a strategically important operation for Ryder and we are delighted to be making these significant investments at this time.
“Many of our customers are involved in transporting essential supplies across the UK and Ryder is working hard to keep supply chains moving during these difficult times.”
