Fraikin has taken on six new mobile technicians for its national network in an effort to “future proof” its maintenance offering.

The fleet management firm has also added seven 3.5-tonne Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans to its fleet.

The six technicians increases its mobile maintenance team to 22 and all are trained to level two of the IRTEC licensing scheme, with five having completed both their level three and Master Technician training.

Darren Hall, Fraikin MD said: “This expansion will enable us to keep ahead of the curve, allowing us to be both flexible and instantly reactive, which will be essential when considering the ever-increasing telematics capabilities across the industry.”

The seven new vehicles increase Fraikin’s maintenance fleet to 24 and are a mixture of Sprinter and Renault Master vans.
