Unions condemn XPO Logistics decision to award US chief £57m pandemic bonus while claiming millions in UK furlough payments
XPO Logistics has defended its strategy during the pandemic after revelations that its US chief executive Brad Jacobs was paid an incentive award of up to $80m (£57m) in the same period the company was claiming millions of pounds from the UK government in furlough payments.
Removal and storage firm Pickfords has completed a pre-pack administration led by its existing management team. Administrator BDO, which was appointed to the Wembley-based Moving Services Group UK on 23 November, sold the removal firm to recently incorporated Pickfords Move Management on the same day.
