Police in Bristol have condemned the actions of arsonists who torched two Iceland delivery vans. At a time when the country was effectively in lockdown, Avon and Somerset Police said it was “beyond belief” that the vehicles were destroyed by fire. Nightline is to invest €5m into the roll-out of its self-service parcel terminals across the UK, creating 50 jobs in the process. The Irish carrier says the funding will be used to set up the infrastructure for 400 Parcel Motel locker boxes that will all be operation by the end of 2014.
