London Gateway’s Logistics Park is fast-tracking the delivery of a speculative 146,000 sq ft green warehouse facility to meet surging demand for premium warehousing space in the south east of England.
Yearsley Group has welcomed a decision by Peterborough City Council’s planning committee to approve the construction of buildings up to 35m high at the Gateway Peterborough distribution park, where it intends to build a new 385,000ft2 cold store. Local councils should find it easier to minimise the disruption caused by road works, following a DfT decision to allow them to create permit schemes without having to get central government approval.
