Ceva Logistics, which recently saw its long-running relationship with Crown Paints extended, has seen group profit fall after its contract logistics businesses was affected by Europe’s economic malaise. Staffordshire haulier Stan Robinson Group has reported a year-on-year rise in pre-tax profit of 14.2% despite a slight drop in turnover.
Fakenham, Norfolk haulier Jack Richards & Son has reported a 56% rise in pre-tax profit, and £2.3m rise in turnover, for the year ending 31 May 2012.
