Ipswich-based Go Freight Transport has closed its doors and appointed an insolvency practitioner. The company, which had an operating licence for 42 trucks and 62 trailers with another under consideration, specialises in container haulage. Roadways Container Logistics has returned to profit despite a fall in turnover and a warning that rates in the market remain depressed. For the year ended 31 December 2011, Roadways achieved a pre-tax profit of £319,000, compared with a pre-tax loss of £697,000 in the previous year.
