Maxi Haulage saw another year of strong growth with pre-tax profit up 14% to £1.61m in the financial year ending to September 2015.
Maxi Haulage is on course to deliver “acceptable” profit levels this year after driver wage rises and a steep hike in shipping costs to Ireland saw the firm’s pre-tax profit take a 41% hit in 2017.
Bartrums has posted a combined turnover of £26.7m for its road services and haulage and storage arms, down on the previous year’s results, but pre-tax profit showed an improvement.
