Fagan & Whalley pocketed a £521,000 profit last year, but it was a significant reduction compared to the previous year’s £1.3m. According to its latest set of results, for the year ending 30 April 2019, the transport and warehousing company increased turnover by 1.2% to £26.3m. Controlled temperature specialist Nagel Langdons increased turnover by almost 15% to £85m in the year ending 31 December 2013.
Hermes Group, parent company of UK parcel carrier Hermes Parcelnet, has seen “significant growth” in turnover for the twelfth year running, which it attributed to the rapidly growing e-commerce sector.
