UPS has placed an order for 10,000 electric delivery vehicles with UK start-up Arrival, to be deployed across its US and European fleets. UPS is under starter’s orders for the delivery of team kit to more than 300 London 2012 Paralympic athletes. The operation will require the warehousing, packing and delivery of more than 27,000 items. Kit will first be warehoused, before being picked and packed for athletes according to their size and individual requirements.
