Wave of truckstop closures could see drivers exceeding their hours, warns Brian Yeardley Continental
Brian Yeardley Continental has warned that the closure of the Folkestone Harbour and Alconbury truckstops, combined with the shutting down of French truckstops near Calais, could force UK drivers to exceed driving hours.
The FTA met with the Treasury last Thursday (5 February) to discuss the real effect the plummeting cost of oil was having on the freight transport sector.
