Eulos#2

Kent-based car transporter Eulos.EU called in administrators just two days before Christmas.

The company, which provided transport to vehicle manufacturers, fleet operators and retailers in the UK and on the continent, had been trading since 2009.

It held an O-licence for 25 lorries and 25 trailers and had an operating centre in Sheerness docks.

It appointed administrators from FRP Advisory on 23 December and when Motor Transport tried to contact the firm this week our calls were not answered.

Its website said it also had offices in Lithuania and Northampton and ran a fleet of Euro-5 and 6 trucks.

According to official records, Eulos.EU sole director Christopher Martins incorporated a new business, A2B Car Transport, in October 2019.

FRP said partners Raj Mittal and Arvinder Singh were appointed joint administrators on 23 December.

In a statement it added: “The company had experienced cashflow pressure in recent months as a result of difficult market conditions and ceased to trade on 19 December 2019.

“Five employees were unfortunately made redundant.

“Following their appointment, the joint administrators worked closely with the director to wind down the business and support those employees affected.”
