DPD has reported record parcel volumes in the week running up to Black Friday and through the Cyber Weekend – up 13% on last year. DPD has launched a 15 minute delivery window for online fashion retailer ASOS to cut down on the number of failed deliveries.
DPD’s ‘NHS Thursday’ initiative has gathered momentum, with the parcel firm gearing up to deliver more than 60,000 donated items to hospitals thanks to the generosity of its staff.
DPD has worked in partnership with a British-based start-up on the “common sense” design of a new electric-assisted urban delivery vehicle, the first of which will be on the roads this summer.
