DAF Trucks is showcasing an 18-tonne LF 230 FA skip-loader chassis, fuelled by hydro-treated vegetable oil (HVO) at Freight in the City next week. HVO delivers a reduction of up to 90% in CO2 emissions compared to diesel, according to DAF, and requires no changes to the vehicle or service intervals.
