Milk & More has started taking delivery of an order of 159 zero-emission vans from LDV. The EV80s will be in place by the end of September and will take Milk & More’s EV fleet – including 150 milk floats and 200 electric street scooters purchased last year – to just more than 500. Sainsbury’s is to begin trials with two all-electric vans, an LDV EV80 the supermarket has dubbed Evie, which is already on the road, and a BD Auto e-Ducato, due to be delivered in May, named Stevie.
The LDV brand will return to the UK this year, following a seven-year absence.
