Whistl has appointed John Evans the company’s head of legal and Gareth Hughes, procurement, property and fleet director at the operator, to its executive board of management.
Evans, who is also company secretary, joined Whistl in 2003. Hughes joined the carrier more recently in 2015.

Last year the operator recruited former TNT MD Alistair Cochrane to bolster its experience as it ramps up its presence in the parcel delivery sector where it sees its future growth coming from.
