Two-man home delivery specialist ArrowXL has started using PostTag to improve the speed and accuracy of its deliveries.
PostTag provides far more detailed and accurate location data than postcodes; an analysis of over half a million UK addresses by PostTag shows 45% of postcodes are inaccurate by almost the length of a football pitch, leaving drivers to hunt around for the right location.
ArrowXL is working with PostTag to check the address details of every scheduled delivery, and once the programme has the precise location, it creates a unique PostTag for that property based on complete address data.
This will be especially useful for drivers trying to find a house on large estates where a single postcode can cover hundreds of properties and when trying to find a flat in a large block. Consumers will also be able to send ArrowXL the exact location of their property via GPS.
