Cross Transport has taken delivery of 56 DAF XF tractor units to facilitate its contract with Amazon.

The full-service contract hire deal from Asset Alliance Group is valued at around £4.5m and replaces older assets on its fleet with new tractors spec’d with Super Space cabs.

The DAFs will cover 140,000km a year and the agreement covers all safety inspections, maintenance, servicing and repairs.

The trucks support Cross Transport’s Amazon contract, delivering orders throughout the UK and Europe from its Nuneaton depot.
