Wincanton has released details of its deal to manage Britvic’s new 273,000sq ft Rugby facility, which went live recently. Wincanton is providing engineering and technical support as well as stock management and warehousing for the new 33,000 pallet facility. Eddie Stobart is facing a third strike by its drivers based at Tesco’s Doncaster DC. Although the operator and Unite had been in talks via Acas in a bid to resolve the long-running jobs dispute, efforts to find a way forward have failed. The Scottish Government has not made a decision yet as to whether to introduce a “zero tolerance” drink drive limit for LGV drivers.
